About

This typing speed test exists because the popular ones keep making the same trade-offs: the full result hidden behind a signup, a different page for every little option, heavy pages that crawl on an ordinary phone, or a score you cannot verify because the formula is a secret.

Our principles

• The test comes first. It is ready in seconds, on the homepage, and nothing pops up over it.
• Honest numbers. Every formula is published on the Scoring Methodology page, and statistics we cannot back with real data — like a percentile — simply do not appear.
• Private by design. No accounts. Your typing and your history stay in your browser.
• Built for real phones. Light pages, big-enough controls, and a typing area that behaves on a small screen.
• Free means free. No daily limits, no fenced history, no watermark tricks.
